The first step in configuring the Mailchimp integration is to obtain your API key.
Log into your Mailchimp account then click on your name at the top right corner and then on Account.
On the next page, click the Extras and then API Keys.
If you haven't created an API Key previously, you'll see this...
...if you have, you'll see a list of your existing keys.
Either way, click Create A Key and Mailchimp will generate a new key.
We suggest that you give the new key a label, so that you know what it's for if you come back later, then copy the key to the clipboard.
Now you have your API key, setting up the Mailchimp integration is easy.
On the main Dashboard, click the “cog” icon to start editing the form.
Scroll down to the Actions section and click on the Add Actions button then select Send to Mailchimp.
Give the action a name and paste the API key you obtained earlier in to the API Key field.
Click Save. StaticForms will validate the API Key and, if all is well, you can then configure the integration.
Select the mailing list that new contacts should be added to, then map the Mailchimp fields to your form's fields using the
name attribute you gave each field. The email address field must be mapped, but all other fields are optional.
Click Save. Your integration is now active!
